ISRAEL · HAZZAN

Shlomi Shaul

An outstanding hazzan in the Sephardic-Jerusalem tradition, whose prayer lifts a room — a voice that carries both the fire of traditional Middle Eastern chazzanut and the warmth of contemporary Israeli song. He leads Shabbat and holiday services, Hallel, Selichot, Torah reading, weddings and celebrations, and prepares children for Bar Mitzvah with care and joy. He has led prayers across Israel, the United States and the Gulf, and moves comfortably between nusach and style — including Ashkenazi tunes — to suit any congregation. Seeking a Sephardic community in the United States — for holidays and special events, or on a regular, long-term basis.
